more ebaying ahead.

something is either wrong cosmically or there's some ebay trick...

i lost the wonderful phone pictured below by $1 in the last 30 seconds as my browser crashed.

this is the third one i'd lost in the last day or so due to a browser crash in the last 30 seconds.

i was very very pissed off.

thankfully, i found a couple more to bid on, (including one which matched) so my ebaying isnt finished yet.

how's your firewall? you might have somebody's private little 'crash' cookie. did you lose them to the same bidder? or various bidders with very low feedback numbers?
another option is the multiple 'sniper' programs out there.
i hate ebay's security and user protection.
