organizational friday five

It's 5 about organization!

1. Would you consider yourself an organized person? Why or why not?

I believe in 'a place for everything and everything in its place', although sometimes that's hard to do, when everything doesn't have a place, or other people don't put it back, or you're too busy. However, I can be quite organized when I try. My first job in Columbus was as an inventory manager and buyer for a chocolatier. When your candy is $35/lb, you better know how much you have of any one kind, and where it all is, at any given time. It was the best job I ever had, in that sense.

2. Do you keep some type of planner, organizer, calendar, etc. with you, and do you use it regularly?

I don't, but at some point, I should be getting a palm pilot. I generally don't need it though since I use Outlook at work.Once I get the palm, I'll probably be using it with both iCal and Outlook.

3. Would you say that your desk is organized right now?

Home or work? Home definitely isnt, right now.

4. Do you alphabetize CDs, books, and DVDs, or does it not matter?

CDs are alphabetized and sometimes categorized. DVDs are categorized by genre and alphabetized by title. Books are organized by subject.

5. What's the hardest thing you've ever had to organize?

My work office, I suppose.
