sleep n house stuff
I had trouble getting to sleep last night, too, but it was mainly the awkward temperature combined with the thoughts about the house, which I might add, we now have a few photos of.
Am I worried about the financing? No, not really. If necessary, we work out an agreement, which has already been in my head... in which I aggressively pay Nala back my half of the down payment, and my rent money is turned into a percentage of the house. This was going to happen anyway.
We shall see, when it comes to the basement. We won't be able to know what our strategy will be till after the contractors come in and see the basement and we have estimates.
The girls are already in contract on their new house. They have a closing date in mind. They have to know the basement is an issue. We'll play this out with a little help from our realtor... once we know the cost to fix.
No worries, I say. If it doesn't go our way, we still have a roof over our heads, and we're only out the home inspection fees.
