strange
well, after looking up some of the settings, i found the wrt54g to be a decent wireless access point. getting it configured took a while.
and for some reason.... i seem to be getting more battery life? does that make sense?

I have the same wireless-g setup from Linksys. I love it! Of course, we have a small apartment so it's hard to really take advantage of it but it's nice to be able to get online from outside the apartment, too. :)

As of 1:50pm on Monday, I still cannot get my Powerbook to connect to the blasted thing.

For the SSID try "any" and see if that works. (Without the quotes.) My wireless-g network is setup on my Windows computers but a friend brought over her new Powerbook last month and didn't have any problems connecting. Wacky!
