gigamatic

i just came back from my first retinal scan. or my first 50 retinal scans, depending on how you look at it.

because my choroidal nevus is toward the perimeter of what can be seen inside the eye, and the fact it is nearly flat, the likelihood of it becoming malignant is low. but, it must be watched.

it was a bitch to get a photo of, and as i told Nala, it was freaky to see. a pool of black on the edge of a veiny sea. and it was elusive like the fucking loch ness monster, but on a smaller scale. it's just so close to the edge!

so, tomorrow i'm going to ask for a copy of it. just so i can post it here for all to see.
