good news/bad news?

the good news is, apparently budgeting is almost final. according to the big boss lady, NONE of our tech budget got cut. NONE. NONE! WTF?! When does THAT ever happen?!

i asked my boss which one of us would be cleaning out his desk to pay for that. he said (jokingly) that's why he was looking for the new guy, whose office is next to mine.
