summer storm

so, i left 5 minutes after Nala, in the rain, and suffered thru hail and torrential downpours off and on with < 100 yd. visibility. the streets were filled with water with nowhere to go, but by the time i pulled into work, it had stopped.

and of course, i need gasoline. when are they dropping it again, Max? (it's still $2.15 at the Citgo on Olentangy, i think.)

I lost a probably 30 foot tree limb that's still got to come all the way down... hopefully not on the neighbors fence. Gee, storms are fun!

Next increase will be on sunday, but with the holiday, that won't be a suprise.

These heavy rains are so hit/miss. It's one thing to be on the edge of showers, but going from monsoon-like downpours to bone dry to monsoons again in the space of one minute in the car is strange.

And there's not a lot of success trying to explain to people that their electric outage is due to a rain storm that shorted out a transformer 100 yards from their home, when they didn't see a drop. Good times.
