jerked around.
No other industry has the potential to jerk you around on a sales transaction quite like real estate. Don't get me wrong, homebuying is still a great idea, but the whole process of "closing" should be something simple. Setting a date and time when everything can come together and happen. It sounds easy.
It should be easy.
Why am I hearing horror stories from everyone at work? Why do we not know now if we're closing on the 29th or 30th? Well, I'm guessing the 30th is the back up plan.
Still. Lots of craziness. My coworker's father is a title agent, and says closing is a big mess. Hopefully all will go smoothly, and we'll still be able to move some before the yard sale weekend.
