argh

wont boot to OS9 partition.
wont boot to OSX partition.
will sort of let me boot from CD, although every window appears... shall we say... messy.

if i can get to Disk Utility, I'll use it to let me check things out.
if that doesnt work in the next 2 attempts or so, I'll try just making the thing a telnet/ftp server and pulling the stuff off from there.
